Come out this Friday to the DC801 hackerspace for a night full of wireless (in)security. We will be discussing the latest trends and tactics used by many to steal your internet and sometimes your information. Topis include: How hackers bypass your WPA2 authentication on your home Wifi router. Why you should never trust open Wifi networks (or anything that looks like a pineapple), whether it be at a coffee shop or on an airplane. What is NFC, ISIS, and Google Wallet and how secure is it?
We will be getting together under the guise of UFSUG, or Utah Free
Software Users Group the first and third Thursdays of each month. The
focus of these meetings will be to further knowledge of and practical
use of free and open sourced software in the context of an administer
of said software.
The fourth Thursday will be just to gather and discuss questions. And
most importantly, to give us a place where Bro’s can be Bro’s ( the
non-gender specific P.C. Bro that is).
