    3. Provo: Public Event: Meet the Makers
      6:00 pm – 6:30 pm

During this 1/2 hour you can count on the following:

      - We will be frantically scrambling to set up for the classes that should have been setup hours before.
      - We will try to take the time to go around to room and introduce everyone.
      - If anyone would like a tour of the hackerspace, this is the time to ask.
      - If anyone has a project to show off, this will be the time to show it off. We will try to go around the room and give each person a couple minutes to show off any current projects they wish to bring down.
      - If everything goes well, the first class will start at 6:30. :)

Please contact us (see the Contact Us page) with any questions / comments / suggestions.

    1. SLC: Defcon Talk Night
      8:00 pm – 2:00 am

      Public Event:
Was there a talk at Defcon that you may have missed because you were passed out in the HHV? It happens to the best of us. Well, this is the night you can make up for that. There has been a poll up on http://dc801.org for a little while asking you what Defcon talks you would like to see. Tonight is the night where we do that. Bring some beer, popcorn, and some cookies because this will be fun!

      6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Presented By SOBIT. Build an enterprise grade firewall using old PC hardware or recycled embedded devices (like Watchguards). I’ll give a quick presentation on the project and some key capabilities and then we’ll spend time setting up your new firewall. Bring a laptop and any old hardware you have that you’d like to run PFSense on. I’ll have a few demo boxes for everyone to play with as well.
