Make:Provo Reminder
Just a friendly reminder to everyone that we are now holding a Make:Provo meeting every Saturday from 4PM to 8PM, followed by Game Night until we feel like going home. Be sure to check the Calendar page for any last minute changes to hours or scheduling before you come down. Everyone is welcome, so bring your projects, ideas and friends down to meet with your local hacker/maker community. We already had a couple new faces last week, and hopefully we’ll see many more in the future.
Below you should find posts of our more memorable moments as we ended 2010 here at the Transistor. We look forward to another great year of projects, making hacking, and having a jolly good time, and we hope you’ll all come down and be a part of the wonderful Utah hackerspace scene. Also, keep an eye out for an update in the near future about our recently completed MAME cabinet design and build. We’ll be posting our plans so you can make one too!
Introducing the Gorduino!
Peoples of the Internet, the Transistor is happy to introduce our first official board design release: The Gorduino. Designed by tT member Gordon Cooper, it is our favorite way to build a quick prototyping board out of one of our Minimalist Arduino Kits. Spooky Mummy Drink Dispenser
For our Halloween party this year Deven and Gordon decided to make a spooky drink dispenser. It featured a mummy and a cannibalized water cooler/heater jug assembly. We routed the hot pipes separately from the cold and served hot cider and cold punch. These are some of the build pictures.
